Jamie Fitzpatrick

ZWART Creative Bureau presents ‘(dis)ambiguation’. Featuring the work of three award winning young artists, Jamie Fitzpatrick, Ashley Niewenhuizen and Stephanie Richardson, the exhibition presents a collection of sculptural investigations that challenge genetic normality, investigate the fragility of form and identity and focus on each artist’s fascination with hybrid creatures.

Jamie Fitzpatrick is a sculptor living and working in Glasgow. Having graduated from Duncan of Jordnstone in 2009 with a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Fine Art, Philosophy and Contemporary Practices, he has since gone on to win several awards and featured in several publications and articles. He has received the George Duncan of Drumfork Scholarship, the RSA John Kinross to Florence, the W.A.S.P.S Studio Award and the Scottish Sculture Studios Award, resulting in a 6-week residency, as well as being featured on the front cover of Skinny magazine. Jamie Fitzpatrick has exhibited regularly nationwide and has work in public and private collections including America and Europe.
